Established in 1939, ROSNA KITKA Ensemble has been awarded
1st prizes at the international folklore festivals in
Nice, Matta and Confolane - France, Fairfax - USA, Berlin - Germany,
Tarcento - Italy, Chisinau - Moldova, Seget - Hungary.
The Ensemble has won gold medals at a number of national competitions and festivals.
About 300 children and young adults ages 12 to 24 are trained
in ROSNA KITKA ensemble.
The repertoire includes 35 dances:
- Bulgarian folk dances prepared for the stage;
- contemporary dances.
For the 60 years of its work the ensemble has performed over 5,000 concerts
for approximately 4,000,000 spectators.
The dancers' are known in the Russia, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic,
Yugoslavia, Italy, Iran, Belgium, Franse, Cuba, Turkey, Germany, Holland,
Greece, India, Syria, China, Mongolia, Korea, and the United States.
Prize winner of all national festivals of amateur and activities.
Winner of a "CYRIL AND METHODIUS" medal.
